Of late, names of various A-listers have been doing the rounds about who will play the role of Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir in Omung Kumar’s biopic on the slain Indian prisoner. Two of these were Sonakshi Sinha and Priyanka Chopra but now, the former has denied being part of the project.
When asked, she said, “No, I’m not doing that movie.” However, a project that Sonakshi is excited about at the moment is her next, Akira. We hear, she will also sing for the film. She said, “Our music director Vishal (Dadlani) would have to train me for that.”
Sona has even attempted to sing earlier, but in vain. “Sawaar Loon (Lootera) is one of my favourite songs. In fact, when the film was releasing, I had even suggested that, Vikramaditya Motwane and Vikas Bahl, let me sing, but they did not for obvious reasons!” she said.
