Grace of Monaco takes another hit, a year after its Cannes release

Uday Chopra’s luck didn’t seem to work well overseas either. The actor-turned-producer’s Hollywood production Grace of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman, had been panned by critics when it was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.

And now, with a recent television premiere in the US, even the screenwriter of the film, Arash Amel, joined in to talk about the film — live tweeting about the “disaster” as it played on TV. From rants about the film receiving unnecessary cuts, to the horrible background score, Arash went on to tweet through the entire duration of the film.
