Watch: Deepika Padukone’s parents have seen 'Piku' four times

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone took the nation by storm when she appeared in the Homi Adajania's video. The actress received much disapproval for her decision to be a part of that campaign. However her recent film has washed over the controversies of the past and made Deepika a.k.a Piku a clear winner.

Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ has won hearts not just in the country but outside too. Their worldwide collection has been over 100 crores till now. Deepika feels overwhelmed and shared that she never expected such response from the public for a short budget film.

She even went on to say that box office numbers are irrelevant for her, but she’s happy that her producers are happy. However, the highlight of the video is when she shares how her parents watched the film four times. "My dad is a man of very few words and for him coming to my room and discussing my performance with me, I think that's a huge step and a huge sign that they have really appreciated the film," she said.
