BENGALURU: Actor turned producer Raghavendra Rajkumar, who runs premiere production house Vajreshwari Combines, and his wife Mangala were granted interim anticipatory bail till June 9 by a sessions court here on Saturday, in connection with an abetment to suicide case filed against them in Cottonpet police station.
Umesh Kotekar, an accountant working with Vajreshwari Combines, had committed suicide in a lodge in Cottonpet on Thursday and his son had filed a complaint alleging that his father had ended his life due to harassment by Raghavendra Rajkumar and his wife in connection with misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 3 crore.

Based on his complaint, the Cottonpet police had registered an FIR against Mr. Raghavendra Rajkumar and his wife. The duo had filed an anticipatory bail plea in the 64th Civil and Sessions Court, which granted them the interim anticipatory bail till June 9, on several conditions.
