Cash for vote row: Will not spare those tarnishing TDP’s image, says Chandrababu Naidu
Guntur: Embroiled in controversy over the cash for vote scam, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu hit out at Telangana government and its CM, K Chandrasekhar Rao warning him of ‘dire consequences’ for tapping his phone.
Naidu voiced his anger during the Mahasankalapam meeting on Monday. The Mahasankalpam meeting was held in front of Acharya Nagarjuna University where the Telugu Desam government had taken oath a year ago.
Naidu began his speech by reeling out the successful one-year stint of his government. Later, he expressed his anger over the phone tapping controversy and said that KCR had insulted the people of Andhra Pradesh by tapping his phone.

“Tapping of phones cause governments to fall; how dare they tap phone of AP CM?. This is an insult to the people who elected me to power,” said Naidu.
He also said that he would not leave anyone who tried to tarnish his party’s image. Naidu alleged that TRS, Congress and YSRC were conspiring to eliminate TDP.
Saying that Andhra Pradesh has its own government, Naidu questioned KCR’s authority to tap his phone.
Heading for a showdown with the KCR, Naidu warned that no one conspiring against him would be spared.

“We will stand strong. We will rise against the odds. We will fight our challenges with courage,” Naidu added.
He also took a dig at YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan saying that he is involved in 16 criminal cases, but still has the audacity to level allegations against the TDP.
“Several people are trying to hinder our development and welfare programs. I have worked hard for Andhra Pradesh. We will rise against these forces.”
