Things go awry for 'Pirates of Caribbean' actor in Syria
Matson requested the US State department to remove him from the scene
While he awed the world with his decision to leave behind his friends, family and profession to fight against the ISIS, things did not turn out as expected for British actor Michael Enright.
In a recent Facebook post, Jordan Matson, one of the important international figures in the Kurdish resistence, said that "mentally unstable actor who is in Rojava is in danger of being killed by one of many westerners and kurds who want to bury him." Matson is one of the prominent western fighters in Syria and acts as their spokesperson.
The post by the ex-US marine further goes on to describe that the actor constantly lies and tries to manipulate everyone around him, both Kurds and westerners.
"This man has been the biggest p.o.s that ever walked in Rojava. Immediatly after coming here he tried selling his story to the media. He has been kicked out of 4 different fighting units and asked to leave twice by the YPG to which end he put the barrel of his rifle in his mouth and threatened to kill himself if he was sent home, " read the post.
He further went on to describe that the generals have even tried keeping him away from everyone for fear that there own men will kill him. Citing several other western fighters battling the ISIS with the YPG (Kurdish resistance), he added that the leaders had "taken the bolts from his Ak quite some time ago and so he runs around taking pictures of himself in the rear saying he killed daesh with a weapon he cant even fire."
Matson ended the post by requesting the US State department to remove him from the scene before he becomes the first US death in Syria. Michael Enright, 51, had left to Syria in March but lacked military background.
