Hrithik Roshan, who performed the final act at the recently concluded Iifa awards in Malaysia, is touched by the international fan support he’s been receiving in the country.
Talking about the experience he said, “Sometimes you visit a country, unaware that your films are watched and loved there. When you see the connection with people, it makes you give yourself that extra push in the right direction. The kind of reactions international fans have been giving me makes me realise the kind of impact our films have the world over.”
How does it feel, to be known as one of the best dancers in the industry?
“Dancing has always been close to my heart. My fans have stood by me through thick and thin and I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for all that they have given me by entertaining them, through my dance. Dance as a medium is like magic — there is so much you can express through it.”
In the past, a lot of people have said that Hrithik has the makings of an international star. When quizzed about it, the actor said, “No international plans right now, but one thing I can surely tell you is that I will do it in the future.” The actor recently wrapped a schedule of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Mohenjo Daro. About the film he said, “The film has taken a lot of hard work as we shot in extremely hot weather conditions. But I feel that the film is worth all the effort.”
