Mumbai: After numerous reports that stated Varun Dhawan will be replacing Salman Khan in ‘Shuddhi’, the actor has finally come on record to clear the air.
Salman, who earlier mentioned at an award function that due to budget issues Karan Johar opted for two young actors. Varun on the other hand admits that he never talked of replacing the superstar. “Never was it said and never have I said that I am replacing Salman bhai,” Varun told a news agency recently.
He further went on to say that 'Shuddhi' is a very special film for him. “Shuddhi as a film is very special... and is being spoken about before its release and that's never happened with any film of mine. It's going to be a mammoth task for me,” he said.
