Ajay is genuine: Tabu
Ajay play a cable operator and family man named Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam
The last time Ajay Devgn and Tabu shared the screen was in 1999 in Takshak. Sixteen years on, the two National Award winners will come together for Drishyam. The film will see Ajay play a cable operator and family man named Vijay Salgaonkar. Tabu plays the role of a tough inspector Meera Deshmukh, whose son goes missing under mysterious circumstances.
Talking about reuniting with Ajay, Tabu said, “Ajay is a very genuine and honest human being. He is a childhood friend and I enjoyed and cherished every moment that I spent with him working on Drishyam. It was like a homecoming. When you work with so many new people in the industry and then with someone who is familiar, you suddenly feel the difference. That’s the best part of our relationship — we share a comfort zone, where I can be myself.”
