Revanth Reddy’s kin in ‘land fraud’ case

The victim bought the land from farmers in February 2012
Hyderabad: Allam Pereddy, a native of Guntur alleged that MLA Revanth Reddy and his brothers Kondal Reddy and Krishna Reddy, encroached his 4,800 yards property at Gopanpally Thanda in Serilingampally mandal. The victim bought the land from farmers in February 2012. They alleged that justice was not done in spite of complaining to police.
Allam Pereddy, a Guntur-based cotton merchant and his sister Kola Aruna, purchased the property in Survey numbers 127 & 128.
“An year later, Kondal Reddy, and his men came to the village and destroyed the fencing and put up their name board on our land. We complained to the Chandanagar police, but they delayed the process telling that they will talk to both parties and solve the issue. After three months, I was told to approach the tahsildar office for a re-survey.
“I paid fees for the survey again and was pursuing the case for so many days,” he said. The victims also approached politicians from the TD.
Meanwhile, the Chandanagar police denied the allegations.
“The victim filed a refer petition through court in 2014. We enquired and submitted a report that he bought the said land from fake owners. He did not file any complaint against Mr Revanth Reddy or the sellers,” said Mr N. Vasu, Chandanagar inspector of police.
“There is no delay in addressing grievances. If the charges are genuine, we will take action,” said Serilingampally tahsildar D. Srinivas Reddy.
