New Delhi: Already pushed into a corner over the Sushma Swaraj-Lalit Modi nexus, the BJP on Monday got another jolt with photographs of PM Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah with the former IPL chief being distributed by the Congress at a press conference.
The controversy took another turn with party MPs Kirti Azad and Shatrughan Sinha claiming that Ms Swaraj was the victim of an “internal feud” within the saffron camp. Environment minister Prakash Javadekar clarified later that photos were taken during an IPL match in Ahmedabad in 2010.
