TTD publications to be made available online

TTD EO directs staff to upload all publication for the benefit of netizens
Tirupati: Around 2,000 popular books published by TTD will soon be available online as the temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is all set to upload their digital copies on its website.
During the weekly review meeting held at the Chambers of Executive Officer in TTD administrative building here on Monday, the EO Dr D. Sambasiva Rao has instructed the officials concerned to digitise all the publications of TTD for the benefit of the netizens across the globe.
“So far we have placed only 80 books under e-publications. The remaining also should be made available online to popularise them across the world,” he directed the PRO Dr T Ravi. He also instructed the officials to upload Annamayya Sank-eertans on the website.
He told the officials concerned to upload the rare photographs of TTD on website so that the netizens will relish the ima-ges related to Tirumala temple and its glory.
He asked the sales wing officials to ensure that TTD publications, CDs and MP3s are made available in sufficient numbers for the sake of multitude of visiting pilgrims during Godavari Puskharalu scheduled to begin from July 14 in Rajamundry.
Later, Mr Rao instructed editorial wing of Sapthagiri magazine to enhance the page making and designing of the religious magazine so that it appears more attractive to the readers.
He also instructed them to engage good writers and scholars to write articles for the magazine in all the six languages — Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit and English — in which it is published.
“Upload the yesteryear copies of Sapthagiri magazine on the website for the sake of netizens,” he directed. The EO told the engineering officials to complete the pending works in SVIMS and BIRRD hospitals in a span of six months and finish the repair works of various kalyanamandapams across the state in the next three months.
TTD JEO P. Bhaskar, CVSO Nagendrakumar, TTD CE Chandrasekhar Reddy, additional FACAO O. Balaji, All Projects Special Officer N. Muktheswara Rao and other senior officers were present.
