Action on ‘tainted’ ministers after Bihar Assembly polls

Action could be taken against all whose names have surfaced in Lalit Modi saga

New Delhi: The Narendra Modi government and the BJP have decided to brazen it out and take no action against “tainted” ministers till the Bihar Assembly elections.

Speculation is rife that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah will crack down on the controversial ministers after the Bihar polls. Action could be taken against all those whose names have surfaced in the Lalit Modi saga.

Adding to the embarrassment, the controversial former IPL commissioner, from London, praised the Prime Minister in a tweet and described him as “savvy”. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, attended the Niti Aayog meeting in the national capital on Saturday.
