Samantha, who has been shooting for Dhanush’s VIP 2 (tentative title) directed by Velraj, gave a surprise gift to the crew recently. The actress gave away around Rs 5000 each to the regular members during the last day of her shoot.
A source says, “This is a practice that many artistes follow during their last day as a mark of affection and attachment for the people spent time with. The last day shoot of the actress was held at St Thomas Mount in the city. She gave money to around 120 members who worked for the film which includes assistant directors, trolley pullers and other technicians.”
Reportedly, Samantha is playing Dhanush’s wife in the movie and the actress once said on her micro blogging page that her character in the film is her best role till date. Samantha is now expected to join the sets of Vijay59, the shooting of which will commence soon.
