Will GVP’s next film run into trouble?
Looks like GV Prakash has a fixation with respect to his acting venture titles. The musician-turned-actor drew a lot of attention, thanks to his upcoming flick titled Trisha Illena Nayanthara. Though it was expected that the film could run into trouble, all went well when the two heroines gave due permission to use their names in the title.
Now Prakash could be in trouble again, as his next project is titled Ketta Paiyan Da Indha Karthi (‘Karthi is a bad boy’). Apparently, the title is inspired by the famous line of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Ketta Paiyan Sir Indha Kaali from his yesteryear film Mullum Malarum. While Vetri Maaran writes the screenplay, Atlee pens dialogues and the debutant duo Shankar-Guna wield the megaphone for the movie. Sources say that the movie’s story is loosely based on Vetri Maaran’s real life.
DC has been informed that the title Ketta Paiyan Da Indha Karthi does not have Karthi’s permission so far. One may recall that on an earlier occasion Karthi’s brother Suriya objected to the title Saravanan Engira Suriya, a film by a newcomer, because Saravan is the actor’s original name. Despite a few attempts by us, Karthi was not available for comment.
