Saloo George to wield the megaphone

Yet another cinematographer will soon wield the megaphone. Saloo George will make his debut as a director in an yet-to-be titled film which will star Kavya Madhavan in the lead. It will be a female-oriented movie and the rest of the casting is being finalised.

Saloo, who has written the script of the movie as well, says, “I have been a part of more than 100 films as a cinematographer and I thought that this is the right time to direct a film. I am a rank holder from the Adyar Film Institute and we have learnt the basics of scripting and direction as part of the course. That’s one of the reasons I decided to both script and direct my debut film.”
