There are reports of composer-actor GV Prakash and actress Manisha Yadav needing 36 takes for a lip-lock scene in their upcoming rom-com.When DC contacted Manisha, she smiled and said that it wasn’t actually a liplock, but a ‘sweet peck on her lips’. Praising GV Prakash as a thorough professional, Manisha says,“Initially, he wasn’t okay with the whole idea. But eventually, he was at ease.”
That scene was my first shot on day-one of the shoot.
I did it without any hesitation. But now looking back, I feel like ‘Oh, was it me who really did that without any fuss?’,” she laughs and adds that she made friends with Prakash only four days after shooting. “Even for that peck, the director was sure that he didn’t want to make it look obscene.
So, he took many shots at appropriate angles, but honestly, I don’t think it was 36 times,” she signs off.Directed by debutant Adhik Ravichandran, Trisha Illana Nayanthara features Anandhi as one of the leading ladies while veteran actor Simran plays a cameo.
