Now that films show intimate scenes, the kiss is no longer so important. As far as acting is concerned, there’s no romance that goes into kissing. Also, I haven’t had any intense lip lock scene in my films so far. But, off screen, I would love to kiss macho men. So, why not Tom Cruise and Bradley Cooper — or both? (winks). Doctors say a kiss reduces stress, burns calories — no wonder; kissing is good for the heart.

Though some say kissing is no big deal, such scenes done with passion still raise eyebrows. A kiss is no longer considered indecent or vulgar (depends on how it is portrayed though). I don’t want to kiss anybody onscreen because they are always considered mechanical with actors checking for camera angles (laughs). But, off screen, I would like to kiss Farhan Akhtar!

I honestly need to know someone before I kiss him. I am attracted to the personality usually, rather than just the looks. I think it’s all about sheer chemistry! Unfortunately, the ones who I think ‘hot’ are married men (laughs). So, I would go with Chris Hemsworth. And, why do we need a separate day to celebrate kissing?

With most of the films having a kissing scene today, it is no more a taboo but I don’t know why everyone is stressed about it. As for doing kissing scenes, I am quite conservative at heart. I don’t like to kiss somebody for the sake of kissing. So far, I haven’t had any such scenes in my movies and I don’t want to do it in future either. But given a choice, I would kiss Arjun Rampal. I find him hot and really good.

There are new breeds of actors who have lesser inhibitions kissing in front of the camera but when somebody does it, that becomes a controversy or news (chuckles). I feel that in Hollywood movies, kissing scenes are shot really well because of the comfort level the actors share onscreen. Again, that’s because of their culture and way of living. If I am given a chance, I would kiss Aditya Roy Kapoor. I find him irresistible. It would be really nice if I get to do that on the beach... Err, why not a candle light dinner?
