Hyderabad: Sixty eight rowdy sheeters planted trees along with police officers as part of the Haritha Haaram campaign in Malkajgiri.
Many students and senior citizens also participated. “We hope that such positive reintegration programmes will help criminals to join the mainstream when factors predisposing a person to criminal behaviour are addressed in a holistic fashion and the social acceptance needs are met,” said Malkajgiri DCP Rama Rajeshwari.
