Virat Kohli to shift to Gurgaon, neighbours upset
New Delhi: Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is supposedly shifting from his current Meera Bagh residence in Paschim Vihar (New Delhi) to Gurgaon. His decision has left the neighbours upset.
According to a report in dna, the cricketer (along with his family) was pretty popular in the area and after his success with the Indian cricket team, the colony came to be known as Virat Vihar.
Apart from the residents, the guards who protect the colony are also saddened. “We live in this colony as one big family and when a member of the family leaves, a feeling of sadness surrounds,” one of the guards told dna.
The kids, according to an inhabitant, will be most upset once their ‘Cheeku Bhaiya’ (as Kohli is lovingly called) leaves the premises.
However, there were others who said that Kohli’s absence won’t make a difference for he was a celebrity and also behaved like one. He kept to himself and did not mingle with the people of the society.
But his family, as reported, will be missed for his mother’s contribution towards the development of the society.
