Ajay Devgn’s family vacation
After a peaceful and relaxed holiday in London with his family, Ajay Devgn has landed right back into a promotional spree for his upcoming film with Tabu,
Drishyam. “A family holiday is the only time I don’t work or think about work. London, for me, is like a second home. I don’t feel the need to shop or step out for formal meetings. So I just caught up with some friends and chilled out with my family. I’d end my day with a martini,” the actor tells us with a smile, having just returned to Mumbai.
Ajay’s disconnect from the world of films was evident, with his decision to switch off his phone while in London. “That’s the first thing I did,” he says. “I switched off the phone I use in India.” What he did not take a holiday from, was his daily exercise regime. “I can’t not work out,” he confesses. “I get extremely irritable when I’ve not worked out in the gym. It’s become so much a part of my lifestyle,”
Ajay says that family time, for him, is when both sets of grandparents are with the children. “Our children are as busy as us and hardly get to spend quality time with their grandparents. This time round, both Kajol and I were adamant on getting our respective mothers to accompany us for the holiday. For me, that’s a real family vacation,” Ajay says.
