Ajay Devgn is taking a keen interest in his friend Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Dilwale. After all, the film also marks the return of his wife Kajol on screen. There has been a lot of talk about the long shooting schedule of the film that happened in Bulgaria. Not many know that it was Devgn who had originally discovered the location.
The actor reveals, “I was doing the recee for my directorial venture Shivaay when I had discovered the exotic locales of Bulgaria. Since Shivaay had to be postponed, I had bounced off the idea to Rohit to shoot Dilwale there. Both he and Shah Rukh thought it would make a perfect backdrop for Dilwale. Now they are done with their bit and I will soon start shooting my film in Bulgaria, by the end of this year.”
Ajay’s camaraderie with SRK during the Dilwale schedule has put to rest all rumours about the cold vibes between them. “I’d want the best for Dilwale because it’s a film that has my friends and family coming together. Shah Rukh and Rohit’s collaboration after Chennai Express had to be slightly bigger than that and I was only too happy to ideate as and when I was asked to,” Ajay says.
