Alphonse gets green signal from Mammootty

For Alphonse Puthren, his blockbuster Premam has been a mixed bag. Along with tasting heady success yet again also came his questioning by sleuths in connection with the pirated copies of Premam doing the rounds of the internet.

Whatever the outcome of the investigations, there is an upcoming project that has given Alphonse reason to cheer. Sources say that Alphonse has got the go ahead from none other than Mammootty for his next film.

The source informs, “This film may either be a bilingual or be made in Tamil. Puthren had met Mammukka with the one liner and Mammukka liked it and asked Puthren to go ahead and develop the story. The Tamil version will also have a very prominent star acting in it and it will be a super project.”

Unconfirmed talk is also that the project will take off only by next year and will be scripted by Alphonse himself and produced by Mammootty under the Playhouse banner.
