AIPMT retest: CBSE gives don’ts list to candidates
KOCHI: CBSE is taking no chances in the conduct of the AIPMT retest which is scheduled for July 25 and is reaching out to students as well as parents with instructions so that nobody is left with any doubt as to how strictly the exam is being conducted this time.
Apart from ensuring a dress code for the candidates appearing for the exam, the CBSE has told students and parents what are strict donts in the exam hall, on its website.
Stationery items like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, log table, electronic pen/scanner etc are not allowed in the exam centre.
Communication devices like mobile phone, mobile camera, Bluetooth, earphones, microphones, pager, health band etc also are not allowed. Wallets, Goggles, handbags, hair pin, hair band, charm/tabeez, belts, cap, scarf etc also are a strict no-no. Ornaments like ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, broach, watch/wrist watch, camera, metallic items and any eatable item (opened or packed), water bottle etc too are not allowed.
The dress code stipulates that the students should wear light clothes with half sleeve shirt/T-shirt/kurta not having big buttons, broach or any badge, flower, and trousers/salwar etc. Students should wear only open slippers and not shoes.
The candidates have been asked to co-operate with the staff at the examination centre in frisking. No photograph will be clicked at the centre.
The candidate will bring only admit card with passport size photograph affixed on it, one postcard size photograph affixed on the proforma with admit card and one passport size photograph to be affixed on attendance sheet, in the exam hall.
The CBSE was understood to be giving instructions to invigilators through a web radio facility on Wednesday so as to make them aware of each stipulation in the light of the Supreme Court strictures recently.
