Priyanka Chopra may have had a good run at the box-office with films such as Mary Kom and Dil Dhadakne Do, not to forget there lies a promising year ahead with Bajirao Mastani and US TV series Quantico, but the actress is in no mood to pop the bubbly just yet. We hear that despite Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s green signal to celebrate her birthday with the family, Priyanka put the party on the back burner to complete shooting a song sequence for Bajirao Mastani. She has to wrap up the sequence before taking off to LA to resume the shoot of Quantico.
Says a source, “SLB had offered to shoot portions during the day so it would give her free time at night to bring in the birthday with her family, but Priyanka chose to postpone the celebrations and work instead.” However, team Bajirao will organise a little celebration on the sets once she’s back from LA. “Ranveer has been an active part of the celebration plan. He has immense respect for Priyanka, and will express it by throwing her a little party,” adds the source. “I thrive on working nonstop. I get all edgy when I’ve had an unproductive day,” Priyanka had said in an earlier interview.
