Mumbai: ‘Puli’ will now have a duet sung by Shruti Haasan and Vijay. The film that stars Sridevi, who is returning to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than two decades, has already garnered much fan support.
The ‘English Vinglish’ actress is plays a queen in the fantasy film that also stars superstar blue-eyed boy Vijay.
Vijay's portion of the song has been recorded last month and Shruti Haasan has sung her part separately. According to reports the makers have merged their voices and it has come out well.
Also starring Sudeep of ‘Makkhi’ fame, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani, the film is directed by Chimbu Deven. Co-produced by Thameens and PT Selvakumar, it is slated to release later this year.
