It is well known that Sonakshi Sinha is close to mother Poonam Sinha, who makes it a point to accompany the actress to most events. Of late though, Sonakshi has been so busy juggling the shoot of her film Akira with her television show Indian Idol, that she is left with almost no time to spend with family. We hear, the actress was recently inconsolable while shooting for her show and only resumed the shoot after having a word with her mom.
A source says, “One of the contestants sang the song Meri Maa and Sona started crying uncontrollably. For the longest time, she couldn’t talk and said she wasn’t in a state of mind to give comments as a judge. The shoot came to a halt as everyone tried to console her. The actress kept saying all she wanted to do at that moment was to run home and hug her mother. It was only after having a word with her mom, that Sona resumed the shoot.”
