OnePlus is holding its keynote event tomorrow that is July 27th, to launch its flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 2. The event is one of its kind as they are broadcasting a complete 360-degree virtual reality video of the launch.
OnePlus had given away its recently launched VR cardboard for free, in order to enable its fans to be a part of the event. They are urging everyone to be a part of the event, and for the people who do not own a Cardboard they have uploaded a DIY on making one for themselves.
Nevertheless, they want no one to miss the event, even the people who do not own a VR headset. They have also built a Cardboard-free 360 experience, right into their launch app. It may not be as immersive, but it will still be interactive and amazing.
