India pays homage to its 'Missile Man' as he sets on his final journey
The mortal remains of former President A P J Abdul Kalam, who died on Monday, were taken from his ancestral house at Rameswaram here to the local mosque ahead of the funeral as thousands of mourners -- young and old -- poured into the island town- Doctors at the hospital who attended him said Kalam had a cardiac arrest during the lecture and was rushed to the hospital.
