Bonds of life: ‘I’ve learnt a lot from my mom’

I am extremely close to my mother. She has always been there for me through thick and thin. I have always been given priority in her life, and I have seen that being apparent in every action of hers through the years.

What is even more beautiful is that she doesn’t make any of my siblings feel as though they are any less important. I’ve learnt a lot from her, about juggling work and family as well as making sure that every aspect of my life gets its due importance.

My mom is a dear friend when I need her to be one, and she looks after me like I’m still two years old, which is beautiful! I can be myself with her and not worry about anything.
