Hyderabadi Biryani bowls Sachin Tendulkar over

The other thing that Sachin fell in love with the city was the Falaknuma Palace
Hyderabad: The Hyderabadi Biryani has left everyone asking for more including the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar, who on Tuesday confessed that the biryani was one thing he could never get enough of.
Sachin, who shared the Indian dressing room with city’s very own VVS Laxman and Pragyan Ojha and the Mumbai Indians dressing room with Ambati Rayudu, said he looked forward to having Hyderabad’s biryani each time he came to the city.
Speaking on the sidelines of an event, Sachin said, “Everytime I played in Hyderabad — be it for India or Mumbai Indians — I always wanted to have the Hyderabadi Biryani. Thanks to VVS, Ojha and Ambati, my cravings for the biryani were always fulfilled,” he added.

The other thing that Sachin fell in love with the city was the Falaknuma Palace, where he spent two days with his family during a private visit. “I always heard people talk about the Falaknuma Palace. So one day I visited the place with my family and basked in the glory of its hospitality and had a rejuvenated experience. To build a palace like that, it must have taken so much time. That imagination, that vision to have something as spectacular as that. It is something that stays with you forever,
” Sachin said.
Asked about how to play his former MI teammate Lasith Malinga, Sachin said with a smile on his face, “Uske baal mat dekho, ball dekho (Don’t look at his hair. Look at the ball).”
“He has a very peculiar action. It definitely is not easy to play him in any conditions. I don’t think any other bowler in international cricket is even 50 per cent close to his action so that makes it even more difficult,” he added.
On being asked about his recent post on Facebook on being stranded in the streets of London and asking for a lift, Sachin replied, “That was just for fun. I asked my friends to click that photo and uploaded it. The only thing I missed was adding the emoticons at the end of the post,” he said in jest.
