When Vijay Sethupathi and Nalan Kumarasamy teamed up for the second time a few months ago, speculation was rife that the movie was a sequel to Soodhu Kavvum, the 2013 release hit film, which had seen the duo teaming up for the first time. It has since transpired that the untitled movie is a romantic tale which has a different cast.
We now hear that CV Kumar, the producer of Soodhu Kavvum, is keen on coming up with a sequel for his film, as he believes that it has ample scope for it. The movie was a critical and commercial success and was lauded for its unconventional screenplay. Reportedly, he also has plans to come up with second parts for the successful films Thegidi, which was a suspense thriller and the recently released sci-fi flick Indru Netru Naalai.
