Ranbir Kapoor praises Rishi Kapoor
With the wrapping up of Imtiaz Ali’s most awaited film Tamasha, the film’s leading man Ranbir Kapoor is gearing to wipe off the memories of his last two flop films.
RK junior, who was keeping a low profile all this while, has bounced back and how. His Tamasha will be followed by Jagga Jasoos and then there is Karan Johar’s directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
These films already have the attention of film trade gurus who are anticipating that these will make big money at the box office.
While all eyes are on Ranbir’s career, recently the actor was heard gushing about his father Rishi Kapoor’s glorious line-up of films.
At the Tamasha wrap-up party, RK junior was overheard raving about his father’s long innings in the industry.
A witness said, “He was talking about Rishi Kapoor's knack for choosing the right films. He also gave the credit to the writers for rustling up a good script for actors like Jackie Shroff in Brothers, Anil Kapoor in Welcome Back and his father in All Is Well. Ranbir said that he hopes there are intelligent writers around when actors of his generation turn 50 plus, who’d write apt roles for them that would justify their star power and age.”
Buzz is that Ranbir has seen a few scenes of All Is Well and has been recommending the film to his friends and close associates. A proud son, the actor is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his father’s film gets its due appreciation.
