I don’t think of success or failure: Harish Shankar
Director Harish Shankar is all set for a comeback with his film Subramanyam For Sale. Sai Dharam Tej is the lead actor and Regina Cassandra is the female lead. “The story is about an NRI and how he wants to sell his talent, thus the title,” says Harish.
“In this film, the person himself is for sale for a cause; to know the cause, you will have to watch the film,” he says, adding that the film is a hilarious one throughout. “We shot the film in New York for more than a month. It was a great experience and the local Telugu people helped us in all possible ways,” he says.
He clarifies that his earlier film Ramayya Vastavayya didn’t do well and he is all set to come back with this film. “I don’t look at failures or success as I prefer to continue with my hard work. After working with Pawan Kalyan garu for Gabbar Singh, I concentrate only on work and put all other things like failure or success aside,” says the director.
Regina is paired with Sai Dharam for the second time. “I liked her performance in Power. She is very talented. I am confident that this film will take her to new heights and she will be in the top league of actresses,” says Harish about Regina.
The director is currently busy with the post-production work of this film. “One of Chiranjeevi’s hit songs is going to be remixed in this film. I can’t reveal which song; it will be a surprise,” he adds. Chiranjeevi will launch the music on August 23 in Hyderabad.
The director adds that Rao Ramesh, who is playing a villain in the film, will be another big highlight of the film. Dil Raju is producing the film, which is slated for a September 24 release.
