Here’s an interesting fact about Meeruthiya Gangsters, presented and edited by Anurag Kashyap and directed by Zeishan Quadri. Siddhant Madhav has provided music for the film.
Incidentally, Siddhant had presented his songs to Anurag and Zeishan Quadri during Gangs Of Wasseypur. While the latter was impressed, Anurag wasn’t, which led to Madhav not contributing to the film’s music. “But since Quadri had loved the music, he promised to work with Siddhant if he directed a film in the future. True to his word, Quadri roped in Siddhant for Meeruthiya Gangsters — and this time, Anurag had no choice but to agree to the pairing,” says a source connected to the film.
