Bollywood actor Rahul Dev who has played a baddie across industries, has been roped in to play a crucial role in Ajith’s untitled film with ‘Siruthai’ Siva. We hear that the suave actor joined the sets recently and has shot for few scenes.
Rahul will be seen in the sequences shot in Kolkata, according to a source. The actor has been noted for his roles in films like Mazhai, Aadhavan etc in Tamil. The crew which shot a few portions in Kolkata and Italy some time back has returned to Chennai and is all set to can action sequences in the city.
Kabir Singh was the first actor who was roped as the antagonist in the film and the inclusion of Rahul has added curiosity to this action thriller. It was rumoured that the title of the film will be announced on Independence Day, but seems like the team is yet to zero in on a name. Produced by AM Rathnam, the film has songs set to tunes by Anirudh, and is aiming for a Deepavali release.
