Only direction, for Prabhu Deva

Prabhu Deva says that he usually doesn’t like to direct and also choreograph for the same film, because he prefers to focus on one aspect of filmmaking at a time. Which is why for his directorial venture Singh Is Bling, he has stayed away from choreography.

A source from the team reveals, “Coming from the South and making a film rooted in Punjabi culture is a challenge and Prabhu has been very involved in his research. He didn’t want anything to distract him, even though he loves dance. Of course he had a team helping him, besides actor Akshay Kumar giving his inputs but Prabhu didn’t want to take any risks. Now that the film is ready, Prabhu isn’t making a big deal about it.”
