I’m not a live performer like Akshay, Madhuri: Prabhu Deva

Known as one of India’s best choreographer/ dancers, Prabhu Deva is a bundle of nerves before his US tour with Akshay Kumar and Madhuri Dixit. Says the actor, “I am not a live performer and entertainer the way they are. I have performed at award functions but I have never performed at a live concert in the US.”

Talking about the line-up of songs at the concert, he said, “Madhuri ma’am and I have done a song called Kay Sera Sera (Pukar) and Chintata (Rowdy Rathore). I think she

and Akshay are the best dancers we have in the industry.”

But Prabhu will also treat his South Indian fans with his moves. “Madhuri ma’am and Akshay sir will join me on stage for Tamil songs as well. See, music is music and dance is dance.

Language cannot be barrier in these things,” said Prabhu Deva who is having a blast shooting in Punjabi for Singh is Bling without (admittedly) knowing Hindi too well.

“The audiences have seen Akshay sir in a serious role in his last few films, but they will see him in a comic role this time in Singh is Bling. I know they love to see him in both the avatars.”
