Whether it’s a cosy apartment or a sprawling bungalow, everyone has that one corner in the house that is more alluring than the others. We spoke to television actors about their preferred spot in the house and what makes it so beautiful.

My favourite spot is the aangan (yard) in my house. I love working out and practising Odissi dance there. Feeding churma and daana to the sparrows and pigeons there is also very relaxing. So when I’m not shooting that’s where you will find me.

I have an angel corner in my room. It’s a dressing table with glass shelves on both sides. And every shelf has a beautiful angel that I picked up in the US. I also like hanging out in my balcony that has a flower bed. My mom has decorated it with multiple pots and plants with Feng shui chimes. I like to sit there and unwind while sipping on tea.

Before heading for the shoot I love spending time in my balcony, sipping on tea. The view is fabulous — nine acres of uninterrupted greenery adjoining the Arabian sea. It is something I really look forward to every morning.
