Watch: Shahid and Mira walk hand-in-hand for Masaba’s show

Mumbai: To mark his first red carpet appearance with newly wed bride Mira Rajput, Shahid Kapoor chose designer Masaba Gupta’s show taking place on Day 4 of Lakme Fashion Week.

The designer, who was said to be designing the couple’s wedding outfit, was overwhelmed to see Shamira making their red carpet debut with her show. She later tweeted, “My wonderful @rohiniyer for backing this show handling it all so well your a genius so is your team. Would have been impossible without u! And my lovely mira for coming carrying off my work so beautifully & @shahidkapoor very very grateful.”

To which Shahid Kapoor gladly replied, “Super fun being at @MasabaG show today. Great stuff. I want those backpacks.”

Although ‘Shamira’ have been spotted on several occasions after tying the knot, they turned heads at the show as this also marked their first appearance as a couple on a public platform. Shahid and Mira share a close friendship with the designer and it was only natural that the two attended the show.
