Azhar sir’s guidance has helped me imbibe the nuances of his personality, the actor says

Emraan Hashmi has suffered a few setbacks at the box office. So naturally he wants to be extra cautious about his upcoming projects. The actor, who plays Mohammad Azharuddin in a biopic that’s in the making, hopes to make a worthy return on the big screen. “My idea of a good script has changed over the past few years. I have become more demanding,” says the actor who has been spending time with the cricketer at Lord’s stadium in England.
He tells us that Azhar has taken charge of training him. The cricketer along with his personal trainer and dietician have been closely working with Emraan. “I’ve already lost around 8 kilos but I’m building muscle and trying to acquire the physique of an athlete. Azhar sir’s guidance has helped me imbibe the nuances of his personality,” the actor says.
Emraan adds that he looks up to Farhan Akhtar for inspiration. “His performance in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has raised the bar. He has shown how to play a sports star on screen. I hope I can achieve that.”
