Kuralarasan and Simbu
The release of Idhu Namma Aalu starring Simbu and Nayanthara has been postponed several times. Despite a lot of widespread speculation, the real reason was unknown. The director Pandiraj had earlier hinted that the movie was delayed because the crew was waiting for songs from its music director.
Interestingly, Simbu’s brother Kuralarasan is scoring the music for this rom-com, making his debut in this movie. The latest is that Pandiraj and Kural have taken pot-shots at each other on Twitter.
It all started when Kuralarasan posted on Twitter, saying, “Five songs were given before two months. Only three songs r shot. The producer will announce the release date. Started working on my next album. My bro is everything for me. He’s the only reason I’m still doing this inspite of being discouraged so many times. I’ll never let him down.” He went on to add, “I’ll b meeting d press asap wit my Dad. No1 has hurt me so much in my entire life. INA director told me these songs r waste n no1 will listen.”
To this the Pasanga director posted a retort, “I know about you and you know about me — the public know about both of us. Go sleep if you feel sleepy. Will tell u soon in a press meet with whole team tat wat nd all happened this 2&half yrs and hw much we struggled for #INA.” It has to be noted that a vexed Pandiraj later moved on to Haiku, featuring Suriya and Amala Paul in a cameo, which has now been changed as Pasanga 2.
