Watch| Roger Federer cleans court after training, rescues kid
New York: It’s clearly a known fact that Swiss tennis ace Roger Federer is one of the nicest personalities both on and off the court. This time around the 17 time Grand Slam winner took his exploits to a whole new level when he was seen cleaning the court after a practice session at the ongoing US Open 2015.
That’s not all! Recently, after he defeated the big serving John Isner in his fourth round match, Federer also showed that he is also a great father and kids are most important to him.
After winding up a rigorous training session, Federer, who reached the semis and will face Davis Cup teammate Stan Wawrinka, got rid of the extra bottles and towels left by other players on the court.

After his fourth round match against Isner, Federer, who has won 16 out of his 19 meetings with compatriot Wawrinka, was virtually mobbed when while on his way to the locker room when several fans along the path asked him for his autograph. It is here, that in the process the fans were crushing a small boy who was trapped in the crowd. Noticing the boy’s alarms, Federer told the security to stop the autograph session and requested the security people to pull the boy out.

He then consoled the boy who was crying and he signed his cap and a tennis ball. The 34-year-old Federer, who is aiming to become the oldest Slam winner since Ken Rosewall in 1970, has twin sons, Leo and Lenny as well as twin daughters, Myla Rose and Charlene Riva.
