Actress has finally broken her silence about the troubled marital relationship on a social networking site

Popular television host-actress Ramya Subramanian, who tied the knot on February 21, 2014 with Chennai-based auditor Aparajith Jayaraman, has finally broken her silence about the troubled marital relationship on a social networking site. Putting an end to all the speculations, she admitted that both of them are heading for divorce. “Jus to put all rumours to rest, yes I have ended my marital relationship on mutual consent (sic),” she tweeted.
Her followers on Twitter asked her about her plans, to which she said, “As of now my only focus is work n thank u for the support on that front (sic).” Ramya’s wedding had been a star-studded affair last year, attended by the who’s who of Tamil film fraternity including the likes of Karthi, Suriya and wife Jyothika, Sundar C and Khushboo, Sneha and Prasanna, Jiiva, Simbu, among others. However, in May, there were reports that the couple had separately filed for divorce and would soon formally part ways as Aparajith was not very happy with Ramya’s decision to foray into films. Ramya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s O Kaadhal Kanmani. She is one of the most popular Tamil television anchors, who’s currently hosting Jodi Number 1 on Vijay TV.
