P.N.C Menon 71st in Hurun India Rich List

Kochi: As many as 15 Keralites figure on the list of 500 richest Indians, led by Yusuffali MA, managing director of the Lulu International group, at the 20th position.
The list with Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani at the top has RP group chairman Ravi Pillai coming at the 55th position and Sobha group chairman P.N.C. Menon at 71st position.
According to the Hurun India Rich List, a compilation of a list of the richest Indians by research group Hurun Report Inc., Mr Yusuffali with Rs 17, 534 crore of wealth has improved his position from 55th position which he held last year.
Mr Ravi Pillai with Rs 13,900 crore also improved his position, from 65 to 55, while Mr Menon got a jump from 173rd position to 71 with Rs 10,958 crore.
Former Infosys managing director S Gopalakrishnan (Rs 9,288 crore), Kalyan Jewellers chairman T.S. Kalyanaraman (Rs 7,831 crore), Joy Alukkas Jewellery chairman Joy Alukkas (Rs 6,851 crore), Muthoot Finance chairman M.G. George Muthoot & family (Rs 6,476 crore), DM healthcare chairman Azad Moopen (Rs 6,421 crore), former Infosys CEO SD Shibulal (Rs 5,891 crore), Synthite Industries Limited chairman C.V. Jacob & family (Rs 4,859 crore), V Guard chairman Kochouseph Chittilappilly & family (Rs 3,225 crore), Thomas Mani of Paragon group (Rs 2,603 crore), Kitex garments managing director Sabu M. Jacob (Rs 2,204 crore), Santosh Joseph of Dubai Pearl (Rs 2130 crore) and Thomas George Muthoot of Muthoot Fincorp (Rs 1,805 crore) are the other Malayalees on the list.
