An actor who has worked with some of the top directors like Shankar and Maniratnam, Siddharth achieved success at a very young age through the Shankar directed film Boys. Last year saw him reinstating his position in the industry with two of his Tamil films Jigarthanda and Kaviya Thalaivan receiving a good response at the box office.
Reportedly, Siddharth will be debuting in Malayalam with the Dileep starrer to be directed by acclaimed ad filmmaker Ratheesh Ambatt, the script of which is written by Murali Gopy. Sources indicate that Siddharth will be playing an important role in the film. The rest of the cast is yet to be decided and the film is slated to begin by the year end. Siddharth has been active in Telugu and the Hindi film industries and has donned the hats of a producer and playback singer.
