42-km road on anvil to ease traffic

A detailed report will be submitted to the government at the earliest, said the GHMC commissioner
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has proposed to build a signal-free 42-km East West corridor on priority basis to ease traffic.
The GHMC commissioner, along with a delegation from China, undertook an aerial survey from Begumpet Airport to the Musi River, Narsingi Outer Ring Road to Bibinagar areas and Korremla Outer Ring Road along the Musi.
The team will conduct a detailed inspection of the 42-km route and identify encroached areas, the number of bridges and where more will need to come up, and how many properties will be affected etc.
A detailed report will be submitted to the government at the earliest, said the GHMC commissioner.
M/s Anju Infra Company, a leading Chinese company that deals with laying of roads, construction of flyovers, is likely to take up the project.
