Krushna Abhishek — known for his impeccable comic timing on Comedy Circus — is back on TV with yet another show, promising to tickle your funny bone. This time he’ll be seen in Comedy Nights Bachao.
Krushna’s co-contestant on Comedy Circus, Kapil Sharma went on to host his own show and has become a name to reckon with. Kapil even made his film debut with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. So what does Krushna have to say about Kapil’s success? “It’s a good thing that he’s getting films, it will help other artistes as well to get noticed,” Krushna responds. “He is a friend and our show is not competing with his, the format is completely different. I hope his film does well. Just that if he is the Sachin Tendulkar of comedy, hum bhi kam nahi hain!”
Having previously featured in a few film projects, is Krushna aiming for a career on the big screen too? “I am shooting for a couple of films, like Kya Kool Hai Hum 3. So yes, I will be featuring on both mediums,” he says.
On the personal front, the buzz in town was that he has tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Kashmera Shah in Las Vegas. “Yes, we did get married,” Krushna tells us. “We were holidaying in Las Vegas and it was an impromptu decision but we are yet to get married according to Indian traditions. That would be our actual wedding.”
