I turn to Sonam for advice: Jacqueline Fernandez

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is juggling multiple projects like Dishoom, The Flying Jat and international releases Definition of Fear and According to Matthew. All confident now, the actress laughs as she recalls her younger days. “I was not always a confident person but things have changed now, with so much more exposure to the world,” Jackie says.

So how does her family react to rumours of her link ups — the latest one being with Arjun Kapoor? “My family keeps a track on everything I do. My dad is a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan and Bollywood movies, so it was a big deal when I debuted in a movie with Bachchan Sr. Coming to the gossip, my family doesn’t know how the industry functions, so for them reading all the rumours can be quite shocking... So I have to explain that this is part of being in the movies. You can’t control these things.”

And who does she turn to for advice, when things get stressful? “From Bollywood, it’s Sonam Kapoor. I know I can talk to her anytime about anything,” Jackie says adding, “Sonam is genuine and she’s very caring.”
