Vijayawada: An embarrassed PCC chief, N. Raghuveera Reddy, has expressed his regrets over the ‘dove rocket’ incident at his meeting during his West Godavari tour and said he would not allow such things in future.
Participating in a BC cell meeting here, Raghuveera Reddy said he was not aware of it initially, but later got to know that the Congressmen who staged the show did not harm doves intentionally.
At the BC meet, he criticised the TD for “not implementing” the promises it made to the people during the last elections. “TD is not committed to the welfare of Backward Communities,” he alleged. PCC vice-president Devineni Rajasekhar (Nehru), Avinash and many other leaders were present at the meet.
